Laurie LaBelle, Principal Designer

For over 20 years, Laurie LaBelle has been developing leading-edge creative solutions for a variety of private and public sector clients. She has extensive experience designing brand identities and high profile publications.

Some of her clients include the University of Toronto, Rand McNally Canada; both retail and educational divisions, Petro Canada and Exxon Mobil. In 2012, Laurie completed her masters in contemporary art history and visual culture at the University of Toronto. 

Laurie is also a professor of Advertising and Graphic Design, School of Media Studies & Information Technology at Humber College.

 

 

Melane Sampson, Strategist, Senior Copywriter

Melane has held senior account management positions with Canadian and International marketing communication firms for over 20 years including, Hill and Knowlton, Communiqué, and most recently managing director of the Canadian division of Osborne and Barr advertising agency.  Prior to co-founding a boutique public relations shop (2000-2006), called The PR Works Company, she was the senior vice-president, public relations, with McManus Elliott marketing and investor relations firm where for ten years where she worked with clients such as Scotia McLeod, First Marathon and eTrade Canada, and was responsible for building an award-winning division of the company specializing in crop science and animal health with clients such as Rhone Poulenc/Bayer, BASF, Pfizer, and was lead account executive for her long-term client Mobil Chemical Company (Exxon Mobil).  

Later in her career she was a part-time professor of media studies at Humber Institute of Advanced Learning and Technology and Mohawk College, where she taught post-graduate certificate students for over six years. Melane is now a freelance copywriter and marketing strategist.
